"Mommy, will you do that thing on my head?"

After having their bars run, many children are happier, feel better and do much better in school and at home. They tend to sleep better, get along with peers better, get in less trouble, have more play dates, have fewer tantrums and outbursts and when they do, they don’t last nearly as long. Times that used to be difficult – mornings, evenings, homework, chores – typically lose their charge and are much easier to maneuver. In fact, many kids and teens ask their parents to run their bars... “Mommy, will you do that thing on my head?”

Kids are always welcome to every class offered by Access Consciousness. Children, ages 15 and under, can come to a class at no cost when attending with a paying adult, or at the discretion of the facilitator. Teenagers ages 16 and 17, pay 50% of the full class price. With classes that are only for kids, there may be a fee. Please check individual listings that are only for kids to learn what the fee is for that class.

“My oldest son had been extremely moody, snappy, and very difficult to be around. I had just taken my Access Bars course for the second time and suggested that I do this for him, of which he was resistant, but he decided to go for it anyways.

After 30 minutes of doing his bars, he was sitting with his brother, and said to him “You know, I hardly ever tell you this, but I really appreciate having you as a brother and I am happy you are in my life.” I had to do a triple take, because this is not something he normally says, especially at that time.

Absolutely heartwarming.”

“... His mom called ahead of time and told me that ever since her son was 3 years he had been saying that he doesn’t belong on the planet. When she called, her son had just had neck surgery and had told her that he wished he had died during it.

We did one hour of Access Bars and I talked to him and asked him some questions and then he got up off the table like a totally different person. His mom asked, "Do you want to come back?" he said, “Yeah, lets come back tomorrow.” He came back two more times and I asked, “So how do you feel? Better? Worse?” to which he responded, “Oh you mean the fact that I’m happy now?”

That was three sessions. That’s so cool!”
